It is placed beneath a liner to shield it from sharp items like pebbles and tree roots. Additionally, underlayment is placed above the liner and below heavy rocks to protect the liner from punctures.
High-quality EPDM 45mil liner is sold by linear widths from 10′, 15′, 20′ and 50′. It is sold by the square foot. (example 1′ x 20′ = 20 sq feet. x cost per sq foot) Call us for pricing
The liner’s flexibility, durability, and fish friendliness make it the perfect choice for aquatic ponds and water features.
The primary job of a pond skimmer is to improve the quality of your water by removing unsightly debris before it can collect on the bottom.
The skimmer also conceals the pond pump and plumbing from view, which creates a more natural-looking pond.
A good biological filtration system, teamed with a proper mechanical filter to remove solids before the water enters the biological filtration unit, is the most effective way to filter water.
Aquascape BioFalls have a lifetime limited warranty and are made from durable, UV-protected, high-density polyethylene. They are an essential part of a healthy pond. The filter media helps with the removal of fine to medium-sized particles and also uses bacteria in the pads to break down pond wastes, converting them so they can be used as aquatic plant fertilizers. Water is pumped from the skimmer box up to the bottom of the BioFalls, then through the filtering media to the top of your water fall. To camouflage the BioFalls, they can be buried in the ground and filled with aquatic plants, covered with driftwood, or accented with accent stones.
For larger ponds, multiple biological filters can be incorporated into the design..
Water pumps are the heart of any water feature. They create the basis for a stable ecosystem, aesthetic waterscapes, and soothing ambiance.
