Water Feature Essentials
A great water feature starts with the right components:
liner, pump, BioFalls, skimmer, and stone. Each one matters.

Underlayment
Our 6 oz. pond underlayment comes in a 6-foot-wide roll and is sold by the linear foot. It’s used beneath the liner to help protect against sharp objects like roots and gravel. For added durability, it can also be placed above the liner, beneath larger rocks, to prevent punctures.

EPDM Liner
Our 45 mil EPDM liner is available in 10′, 15′, 20′, and 50′ widths, and is sold by the square foot. (For example, a 1′ x 20′ piece equals 20 sq ft.) Contact us for current pricing.
Unlike standard plastic liners, EPDM offers exceptional flexibility, durability, and resistance to UV damage. It's also safe for fish and aquatic plants. With proper installation, this liner can last for decades — making it a reliable foundation for long-lasting ponds and water features.

Skimmers
A pond skimmer helps keep water clear by capturing leaves and debris before they sink to the bottom. It also discreetly houses the pond pump and plumbing, helping maintain a clean, natural look.
When paired with a mechanical filter and a solid biological filtration system, a skimmer becomes an essential part of a healthy, balanced pond.

Biofalls
Aquascape BioFalls are made from durable, UV-protected polyethylene and come with a limited lifetime warranty. They filter out fine to medium debris and support beneficial bacteria that convert waste into nutrients for aquatic plants.
Water flows up from the skimmer, through the filter media, and out through your waterfall. BioFalls can be easily camouflaged with plants, driftwood, or stone to blend seamlessly into your landscape. For larger ponds, multiple units can be used together to maintain a healthy balance.
